Hi,
I came in yesterday (Monday) looking for a birthday cake for my husband.. Every bakery in town is closed on Monday.. thanks for being open… I just happened to be driving by and saw the bakery sign, so we stopped in… My son picked out the coca cola cake… I just wanted to let you know that he and his teaching co-workers absolutely LOVED it… He had folks from other grade levels and other parts of his school coming to his classroom to get a piece of cake… It was a fabulously BIG hit. I just wanted to let you know how much he enjoyed it. Now, hopefully, he saved me a piece… =) Thanks so much……

I just want to reiterate that the cake was beautiful and received many, many compliments on the flavors (I wish I had a stack of business cards to give out for you). Here are some pictures of it all set up in our kitchen and the smash cake with decorated ladybug plate.
Best wishes, Amanda
Lisbeth,
The cake for Cathy's 50th was incredible!
We hid it in the kitchen at Panasia till cake time -- when the waiter brought it out, people went nuts - it was SO TALL!
And it was delicious - the mousse was wonderful. People tried to figure out how you did the glaze/mousse etc., and of course they all wanted to know where Lulu's was. Yaaay.
Later at home, Cathy said it was '"the most beautiful cake" she's ever seen. "You could almost use it a wedding cake!" (I said, no, go see their real wedding cakes!)
Thank you so much for helping make her birthday special!
Love, Anita
Hi Lisbeth!! Thank you so much for the awesome cake!! It wasdelicious and Dave LOVED IT!! Everyone asked where it came from, so I did lots of advertising for lu lu’s BAKERY!! There were several Steelers fans in the restaurant that came over and couldn’t believe how cool Dave’s cake was! Thanks a bunch and have a great day!

A confession. I have a secret theory that groom's cakes usually taste better. Could be a penchant for chocolate. Could be that you can slice away just the hunks you want (disregarding perfect cut-making form and fear of looking like a frosting hog) without inciting "harumphs" from anyone looking over your shoulder. If you're of my school of thought (admit it or not) Lulu's Bakery cakes may be the answer to a search for truly interesting—and super delicious—works of pastry art.
Lisbeth Rawls' background (Gramercy Tavern, The Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas) prepped her to think out of the cake box when crafting wedding sweets. Aside from traditional fondant and buttercream, choose from whimsical concoctions like Snickers, Reese's Peanut Butter, Coca-Cola, and double chocolate chip —yep, she bakes bars, Coke, and candies right into the batter.
The best part? They're pretty, too. She can do edible silver monogramming and hand molds chocolate with the best of 'em for stylized creations that taste just as good as they look...if not better.
